➕ Daily Kakuro
The crossword's number cousin: fill runs that sum to their clues.
Kakuro is what happens when a crossword meets Sudoku. Black cells carry clues; each white run must add up to its clue, with no digit repeated inside a run. DailyGrid's Kakuro is generated fresh daily with a verified unique solution, and the grids grow through the week.
How DailyGrid's Kakuro works
- 🗓️ A fresh puzzle every day at midnight Eastern — and it never repeats: every puzzle is checked against everything we've published.
- 📈 Difficulty ramps with the week: 6×6 grids early, 8×8 midweek, 10×10 on hard days, with longer runs.
- 💸 The daily puzzles are free. Always. No subscription, no account, no locked boards.
Tips
- Memorize the magic pairs. 3 in two cells is always 1+2; 4 is 1+3; 16 is 7+9; 17 is 8+9.
- Intersect runs. A cell sits in one across and one down run — digits legal in both are rare and precious.
- Start at the extremes. Very small and very large clues have the fewest combinations.
Kakuro is one of the rarer daily puzzles online — and at DailyGrid it's free every day, as part of the ten-game streak.
